To discourage prospective burglars, we keep only a limited stock of actual gold jewelry in our store (most of our work is done on custom order). Our display samples are made of base metal with gold electroplate and have no intrinsic value. The gold jewelry we do have in stock is kept in an unbreakable TL-40 John Tann Safe which weighs 2,700 pounds and is anchored through the floor into solid coral bedrock. We publish this notice to try to prevent the property damage that might occur should anybody try to illegally enter our store erroneously expecting to find extensive valuable merchandise. P.S. By day, our store is under the watchful eye of constant television and videotape surveillance by the local NASA Crime Watch security company.
