Parrot swings on chain. Chain runs through claw. Important: Because the opening in the claw is small and requires a small but strong chain, we highly recommend that your purchase one of our 1.5 millimeter cable chains. (See price list below). These cable chains are small enough to allow the parrot to swing and slide easily, but they are also very durable. We don't recommend that you use a chain already in your possession, because the ends are unlikely fit through the claw. You'll have to take the piece to a jeweler (who might try to copy it), and have the chain end removed then reattached - an expensive and time-consuming procedure. Furthermore, not all small chains are durable. |
