  Our Black Tahitian Cultured Pearls are guaranteed to be completely natural in color. No dyes or other artificial treatments are ever used. Each has an extremely high luster, deep nacre, and a symmetrical round shape. All have smooth, unblemished fronts.

We offer our Black Tahitian Cultured Pearls in three different qualities ranging from near flawless on both front, sides, and bottom to having a few moderate natural flaws on the sides or backs. Even the pearls with minor flaws are extremely beautiful and make it possible to own a pair of real black Tahitian Pearls at an exceptionally low price. (Some people actually prefer a few unobtrusive flaws because they indicate that the pearls are real.)


Grade Description
A Smooth unblemished front. Moderate flaws on the sides or back.
AA Smooth unblemished front. Minimal flaws on the sides or back
AAA Smooth unblemished front, sides, and back. A maximum of one or two tiny flaws in an unobtrusive spot may be expected occasionally on even the best examples of this grade.
