These elegant precious stone beads are imported from Bangkok and India and are re-strung here on strong monofilament cord and fitted with 14K gold clasps. The gemstones used in making these beads are mined, carved, and finished by native workers; and as such, are naturally irregular and vary from bead to bead in shape and color. One should not expect the same precision cutting and clarity of rubies, emeralds, and sapphires used in settings for rings and earrings: the price would be prohibitive. By using these native cut stones we are able to offer you the rare and unusual at an affordable price.
